Metamucil, Cincinnati, OH, has added Pink Lemonade flavored powder to its fiber supplement line-up. Pink Lemonade joins Berry Burst and Orange flavors in the Meta­mucil fa­mily, and like the other products, contains 100% fi­ber from psyllium husk. Clinical stu­dies show that 7 grams of soluble fiber from psyllium a day, such as the fiber found in Metamucil, may help reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering cholesterol.
